Echoes4 2day tee carries the weight of a number—and the voices of a movement that spans generations and continents.

Inspired by a personal story passed down through Allen Shay, this piece pays tribute to Fleetwood Walker, who played 42 games in 1884 as the first Black man in professional baseball—decades before Jackie Robinson took the field.  Shay, who grew up with the Robinsons, recalls that Jackie wore 42 not by chance but rather to honor Fleetwood as the first to break through the color barrier.

But this isn’t just a story of baseball. It’s a story of liberation.

From Steve Biko to Nelson Mandela, from Martin Luther King Jr. to the marchers behind him, to this generation's cries for freedom that echo across the globe.  Some of their names are known. Most are not.

This shirt is a tribute to them all.
