    HIV and AIDS claimed over 15,000 American lives in 2016. About every 9 minutes, someone in the US dies from a blood cancer. These two conditions are both represented by the red awareness ribbon and both need our support and funding. Researchers are making great strides to provide better treatment for each of these problems, but a cure still remains just out of reach. We're hoping to change that.
